New Reading Room at the Boys and Girls Club of Edinburg

The Boys and Girls Club of Edinburg held a ribbon cutting for a Reading Room at their location on 1210 E. Kuhn. This special room was made possible by a $10,000 donation from Wal-Mart in an effort to promote the importance of reading. The money helped furnish and supply the room with books and magazines. Scholastics and the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library also supplied books for this new room in a location that sees up to 60 teens a day and gives them a quiet and comfortable place to enjoy the pleasures of reading.
