Bobby Pulido Helps People in Villa de Santiago

Tejano star Bobby Pulido will be at the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce on Thursday July 15, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a meet and greet session with people who come by to donate to the relief efforts for Edinburg’s sister city, Villa de Santiago. The town was devastated by Hurricane Alex.

The collection is happening through Thursday, July 15th. Items such as food, water, and medical supplies can be dropped off at the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce at 602 W. University Drive. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm. On Friday, July 16th, the items will be picked up for delivery to Santiago.

The City of Edinburg is also looking for volunteers to help staff the drop off location. For more information call the Chamber of Commerce at 383-4974.
