DAMAGE ASSESSMENT

Edinburg, Texas: City of Edinburg crews have begun preliminary assessment of the damage and debris caused by Hurricane Alex. 12 damage assessment teams are making their way throughout the city to determine what kind of damage was caused by Alex. Debris is being moved from off the roadways to the curbs making it possible for traffic to flow freely. The debris will eventually be removed all together. At this time the shelter operation at South Middle School in Edinburg has been shut down.

A complete damage report will be available within the next week.
